The Paris Bar is a renowned restaurant and bar located in the borough of Charlottenburg. It has been a cultural hub since the 1960s, drawing artists and writers with its French cuisine and lively ambiance.
During their time in Berlin, Bowie and Iggy Pop were regular patrons of the Paris Bar. The infamous 1979 Rolling Stone interview “Bad Boys in Berlin”, that ended with Iggy Pop so wasted that he ended up rolling around in the ice outside, took place at this very location.
